van der Garde expecting an ‘exciting' US Grand Prix
After qualifying in 19th the Dutchman, who has never raced at this circuit before, is expecting the 56 lap race around the Circuit of the Americas to be an exciting one.
'The car felt really good in Q1, I’m not sure there was a lot more in it but still, we start tomorrow in 19th and I think it’ll be an exciting race.' van der Garde said.
The Caterham driver felt he'd done a good job considering he's never raced at this circuit before and missed FP1 as the teams reserve driver Alexander Rossi was in the car.
