'I haven't spoken to Lotus about next year' – Kovalainen

Heikki Kovalainen has ruled out driving for Lotus in 2014 despite standing in for Kimi Raikkonen for the final two races of the season. The Finn, who previously drove for the team in 2007 when they were known as Renault, confirmed that the only team he has seriously talked to over a drive for next year is Caterham. The Leafield based outfit dropped him at the end of last season but he returned in a reserve driver role. He has no expectations of being considered for a drive alongside Romain Grosjean next year, with Nico Hulkenberg and Pastor Maldonado being the main contenders for the seat.
