Magnussen confirmed at McLaren for 2014

Kevin Magnussen has been confirmed as a McLaren Formula 1 driver for the 2014 season alongside Jenson Button. The Danish driver will replace Sergio Perez at the Woking based squad. Magnussen will become the first rookie to race for the team since Lewis Hamilton in 2007. Before Hamilton, the last driver to make his F1 debut for McLaren was Kevin's father Jan. The 21-year-old raced to the Formula Renault 3.5 series crown earlier this year and is part of McLaren's young driver programme.
