Ward pulls out of FIA presidental election

David Ward has withdrawn from the 2013 FIA presidential election contest, it has been announced. In a letter sent to the FIA clubs he said it has 'not proved possible to secure the required number of regional Vice Presidents for Sport to ensure the eligibility of his list'.¡°I, therefore, would like to offer my congratulations to Jean Todt who will secure a second term uncontested if not unopposed,¡± Ward said.In his letter, Ward added: ¡°For many years the FIA has struggled with governance reform.
