Vettel backed for United States victory
Sebastian Vettel has been tipped to win this weekend's United States Grand Prix, with the Red Bull driver receiving 47 percent of the votes in the latest GPUpdate.net poll. For Vettel, the Circuit of The Americas marks one of the very few venues at which he has not claimed victory, with last year's inaugural race yielding a second place finish. Lewis Hamilton, who was the race winner in 2012, has emerged as Vettel's main threat with a 13 percent share. Kimi Räikkönen and Fernando Alonso follow on 12 and 10 percent respectively, ahead of Mark Webber (nine) and Nico Rosberg (four). Five percent of voters believe a driver outside the top six in the standings will triumph.
