Maldonado hopeful heading to Texas
"true">Pastor Maldonado is hopeful Williams can make more progress this weekend in the United States Grand Prix. Maldonado, who will leave the Grove-based outfit at the end of this year – having been replaced by Felipe Massa, was encouraged after the recent race in Abu Dhabi and after finishing eleventh there, he will be out to go one better at the Circuit of the Americas. “We made a positive step forward with the car in Abu Dhabi and its feeling better to drive, so hopefully we can continue making progress this weekend and manage to finish in the points,” confirmed the Venezuelan, who scored the team’s only point of the season back in Hungary, when he brought the FW35...
