Hulkenberg turned down Lotus offer to replace Raikkonen
Nico Hulkenberg will not replace Kimi Raikkonen at the Lotus F1 Team for the final two races of the 2013 season after declining their offer.
The 26-year-old's manager Werner Heinz admitted to German newspaper Bild earlier in the week that the German driver had not been approached by Lotus. However, he confirmed on Tuesday evening that the Enstone based outfit had made an offer which Hulkenberg turned down.
Raikkonen will miss the final two races of the season in the USA and Brazil after deciding to undergo back surgery in Salzburg prior to his return to Ferrari in 2014.
