Button confident over COTA chances

Jenson Button says he is optimistic of a strong run for McLaren in this weekends United States Grand Prix.The Briton goes into the race at the Circuit of the Americas aiming to end his recent run of misfortune, which has seen him fail to score in the last two races after incidents on the opening lap.After an early puncture in India and the fact he was forced to pit for a new nose in Abu Dhabi, Button admitted he was hopeful of a trouble free weekend in Texas as he seeks to fight back into the points.“I'm optimistic that the track will suit the high-speed characteristics of our car, which showed improved pace in both India and Abu Dhabi,” he said. “After a couple of difficult races,...
