The future of McLaren is still not yet set in stone…

The driver market is still in an unstable state of flux, where the chess pieces have yet to be put into place, and no one is entirely sure about what will happen when the ‘smoke and mirrors' show is finally at its critical end. With both Sergio Perez and Kevin Magnussen now heavily linked to the final McLaren seat alongside Jenson Button in recent weeks, it still remains to be seen which driver the top-brass at Woking will decide on for 2014. Magnussen has been linked, according to AUTOSPORT, as a potential and sudden replacement for the young Mexican, who has shown flashes of brilliance in a car that has been not the best of what  Martin Whitmarsh and Woking could have hoped for...
