Rossi excited ahead of COTA run

Alexander Rossi says he is excited about the prospect of driving an F1 car on home soil ahead of his practice run with Caterham next weekend at the Circuit of the Americas.The youngster will be making his third appearance in a Friday session when he gets behind the wheel in FP1, having previously appeared on track this season in Canada.Looking ahead to the weekend, Rossi said it was a major step in his career as he works towards joining the F1 grid and said he was focused on doing a strong job for the team as it seeks to try and get ahead of Marussia in the standings.“I very much look forward to the US Grand Prix week starting,” he said. “This is an important time in my career and...
