Kvyat set to earn Super Licence
Future Toro Rosso driver Daniil Kvyat will conduct a test in Italy this week in order to earn his Super Licence. The 19-year-old was confirmed as Jean-Eric Vergne’s new team-mate last month, and while he ran in the Silverstone F1 test back in the summer, he has yet to complete the required 300 kilometres in an F1 car to obtain his Super Licence. The Russian will drive a two-year-old Toro Rosso car ahead of FP1 runs at the final two races of the year in the USA and Brazil. “We will have a test with him next week to get the Super Licence,” Tost confirmed to N.F1.com in Abu Dhabi last weekend. “Afterwards, he will go out on Friday in America and in Sao Paulo and of course we will have...
