Force India switch focus back to McLaren

A second consecutive double-points finish has rekindled Force India's early season confidence. The team had set their attentions on fighting McLaren for fifth in the constructors' championship but scoring three points in seven races meant that their focus switched to defending from Sauber behind. However, their Swiss rivals failed to score in India and Abu Dhabi. This has helped Force India to increase its advantage from 17 points to 32 in the space of two races. They now sit just 18 points behind McLaren and deputy team principal Bob Fernley is hopeful that they can close the gap.
