Hulkenberg set for Lotus after Quantum deal

The head of the Quantum Motorsports consortium says a deal to buy into the Lotus team has been done – and he has urged the team to sign Nico Hulkenberg. Lotus announced earlier in the year that the group of investors from the Middle East – under the banner Quantum Motorsports – were set to purchase 35% of the team. 'There is no question that the deal is definitely happening,' Mansoor Ijaz, head of Quantum Motorsports, told Autosport. 'I will even go out as far as to say that it has now been completed from our side in terms of what has to be done.'
