Williams will approach Brawn

Sir Frank Williams has told Sky Sports F1 he will contact Ross Brawn about joining his team if the Mercedes Team Principal is available.The 58-year-old is expected to leave the Silver Arrows at the end of the season with Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe taking over his role and Brawn is known to be unhappy with the lack of a clearly defined management structure in the team which has been on an aggressive recruitment drive over the last 12 months. Brawn was recruited by Williams as a machinist when he formed his team in 1978 and the 71-year-old says he would be a great addition to his team.
