Alonso unfazed by qualy form

Fernando Alonso has pointed to his superior race record over Felipe Massa after the Spaniard was once more outqualified by departing team-mate in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Although Ferrari were off the pace throughout practice around the Yas Marina Circuit, Massa still managed to make Q3 on Saturday evening, eventually qualifying in eighth slot, while Alonso fell at the second hurdle for the first time this season and will now start 11th. Despite being told in mid-September that his Ferrari contract would not be renewed for 2014, Massa has now outqualified his team leader in five of the last six races and eight times in total this year - by far the Brazilian's best record in their four seasons...
