Raikkonen could miss final races of 2013
It seems the financial issues linger at Lotus F1 regarding Kimi Raikkonen and his salary. According to an AUTOSPORT article, if the situation isn’t cleared up soon, the Fin could skip the remaining races altogether. Kimi said:
'For sure. I enjoy racing, I enjoy driving – but a big part of it is business.
'Sometimes when that is not dealt with like it should we end up in an unfortunate situation.
'You have to put the line somewhere, and if it goes over that… it is not really my fault any more.'
According to the report, Raikkonen says that skipping future races might be an option and even leveled at Lotus F1 explaining that he hasn’t been paid all year:
