Red Bull fined, Vettel reprimanded for donuts
Red Bull have been fined £21,000 (€25,000) on behalf of Sebastian Vettel who received a reprimand for failing to return to perc ferme following the conclusion of the Indian Grand Prix. The German, who won the race and his fourth title, passed the pit entry and instead completed a number of donuts in front of the main grandstand before stopping his car on the start/finish line. The FIA summoned Vettel and Red Bull to explain themselves and handed down the aformentioned penalites, not for the donuts, but for the failure to return the car to the pits after.
