Race: Vettel Wraps Up Title With Indian Win

Sebastian Vettel fought back from an extremely early pit stop to win the Indian Grand Prix and in doing so wrapped up his fourth World title. Starting on the soft Pirelli tyres, the Red Bull racer, who needed a P5 or higher to clinch the crown, led off the line ahead of Felipe Massa and the Mercedes drivers. However, Vettel reliquished the lead on lap 2 when he came in for a pit stop to swap the softs for the mediums. He emerged down in 17th place. Meanwhile title rival Fernando Alonso, who conceded in the wake of the previous race in Japan, came in moments later as he had broken his front wing on the rear of Mark Webber's car at the start.
