Sergio Perez fears there could be more tyre problems in India Sutton Images Enlarge Sergio Perez believes there could be "tyres exploding" during the Indian Grand Prix if teams push the soft compound tyre so far. A number of teams struggled with the soft tyres during Friday practice at the Buddh International Circuit, with drivers suffering from blistering and high levels of degradation. Having suffered a spectacular tyre failure following a heavy lock-up in Korea, Perez has warned that a repeat could be on the cards in India.
