Vettel keeps Red Bull on top in second practice

Sebastian Vettel put himself on course to clinch a hat-trick of wins in Sunday's Indian Grand Prix, the German following on from his strong morning form to once again lead a Red Bull one-two in the second practice session ahead of Sunday's race. Vettel set a time of one minute 25.722, just under three-tenths of a second quicker than Webber's best time of the afternoon, with Romain Grosjean in the Lotus a further couple of tenths adrift in third. Lewis Hamilton kept Mercedes in the mix with the fourth fastest time of the day ahead of Fernando Alonso — who had been sidelined by gearbox issues on his Ferrari in the morning — fifth.
