Petrov emerges as Sauber candidate at expense of teenager Sirotkin 24 October, 2013 Vitaly Petrov on the podium after finishing third at the 2011 Australian GP Russia first Formula 1 driver Vitaly Petrov has emerged as a shock contender to return to Formula 1 with Sauber in 2014.
