Magnussen in frame for Marussia drive

Kevin Magnussen could make a move into F1 with Marussia next season after it was revealed that the Dane is 'in the frame' for a possible drive with the Anglo-Russian team next year.Magnussen currently heads the Formula Renault 3.5 standings and will seek to wrap up the championship crown this weekend in Spain when the 2013 season draws to a close.The 21-year-old impressed with during the Young Driver Test earlier this year after spending time on track with McLaren, with team boss Martin Whitmarsh keen to see the youngster – part of the McLaren Young Driver Programme – make the move up into a race seat next year.With a role at McLaren themselves highly unlikely, one option would be for...
