Van der Garde's father-in-law may invest in Williams

Dutch media is reporting that Caterham driver Giedo van der Garde's future father-in-law is considering buying into the Williams team. Van der Garde is engaged to Denise Boekhoorn, daughter of billionaire businessman Marcel Boekhoorn who currently helps to fund the Dutch driver. According to De Telegraaf, Boekhoorn is considering purchasing Toto Wolff's 15 per cent stake in the Grove outfit - which he used to sponsor through one of his companies, McGregor. Whilst the investment could provide Van der Garde with a path out of Caterham to the established outfit, his manager Jan Paul ten Hoopen says the deal isn't based on getting the 28-year-old a drive.
