Chilton: I deserve an F1 seat in 2014
Max Chilton believes he has proven he has got pace and consistency - and he is convinced he has done enough to warrant a second season in F1. Chilton made the step up to the pinnacle of the sport this year with Marussia, and despite racing with the perennial backmarkers, he is the only driver this year to have finished all 15 races, his best result a 14th place around the streets of Monaco back in May, while last weekend he was 19th in Japan. “I've proven I've got the pace and consistency, as I'm now the only driver to have finished every race,” the F1 2013 rookie confirmed to sport.bt.com following last weekend’s race at Suzuka “In F1, like in any sport, it's the whole package....
