Lotus 'have to' retain Grosjean

Eric Boullier says it is just a matter of time before Lotus take up their option on Romain Grosjean for next season. The Frenchman was undoubtedly the star of Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix as he challenged the Red Bulls throughout the 53 laps. Grosjean took the lead with a blistering start, however, when all was said and done he was third having lost out to Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. His drive to his fourth podium finish of the season impressed many in the paddock and looks set to be the deciding factor in securing a new Lotus deal.
