Webber quickest, Vettel troubled in final practice
Mark Webber set the fastest time in the third and final practice session for the Japanese Grand Prix on Saturday with Red Bull teammate Sebastian Vettel losing significant track time after he encountered a KERS issue. The German, who has claimed pole positions for the last three races, was favourite to add another one to his tally at Suzuka, but that now rests with the mechanics to resolve the issue in time and the lack of qualifying simulation that could hinder him further. Vettel, ninth fastest, completed just eighth laps while Webber did more than twice that amount, setting the quickest time with a 1 minute 32.053 seconds, a tenth quicker than Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in second...
