Vettel expecting close fight with Mercedes
Sebastian Vettel is expecting a close fight with the Mercedes duo for pole position during qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix. The German driver, who can take his fourth world title this weekend, set the third fastest time in the morning session before topping practice two.
However, the margins were close with just half a second separating the top six in the second practice session. Rosberg finished just two tenths behind Vettel in the second session and both looked comparable during race runs.
