Bianchi to miss FP2

Jules Bianchi will be forced to sit out Friday's second practice in Japan after severely damaging his chassis in the morning's session. With just eight laps under his belt, the rookie crashed his MR02 at the second Degner, hitting the barriers almost nose on. The car sustained heavy front left damage with Marussia later confirm there is not enough time to fix the car ahead of Friday's second outing. "As a consequence of Jules Bianchi's accident in this morning's Free Practice 1 session, his allocated chassis MR02-02 has sustained damage that is repairable but not in sufficient time for him to take part in Free Practice 2," the team said in a statement.
