Bianchi to miss Practice Two in Japan due to crash damage

Marussia’s Jules Bianchi has been forced to sit out Practice Two in Japan on Friday afternoon after damaging his car in a crash in FP1. The Frenchman went off at Turn 9, Degner 2, during Practice One, badly damaging the front of his car. He was later seen nursing his elbow on ice. Marussia reported that Bianchi’s chassis is repairable, but there isn’t sufficient time to have it ready for FP2.Instead, the team will build up a spare chassis in time for Bianchi to resume running in Practice Three on Saturday morning.The rookie had already been facing a challenging weekend having earned a 10-place grid penalty at the previous race in Korea after picking up his third reprimand...
