Ferrari: Almost impossible now for Alonso
Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali has conceded it is now 'almost impossible' for Fernando Alonso to win the F1 2013 Drivers’ title. Alonso lost yet more ground in Korea last weekend, coming home sixth, 26.1 seconds behind Sebastian Vettel, who again won and again took the maximum 25 point haul - something that increased the German’s advantage 77 points, and means he could now clinch the title in Japan this Sunday. “I hope it will be less difficult [at Suzuka] and we need stay positive inside,” Domenicali told reporters following the 14th round in the 2013 F1 World Championship. “Today we were not in a position to take advantage if there was a problem with Sebastian, but...
