Merc deny Brawn exit reports

Mercedes have downplayed reports Ross Brawn will leave the team at the end of the season to link up with Honda at McLaren.The Englishman has strong links with the Japanese manufacturer having being appointed Team Principal of their Formula 1 team in 2008. German newspaper Bild reported on Monday that Honda wanted Brawn to head up its Formula 1 programme next season ahead of its return to the sport in 2015 as an engine supplier to McLaren.
