Alonso hits out at 'not good' Pirelli tyres

Fernando Alonso has hit out at Pirelli's choice of tyre for the Korean Grand Prix, the supersoft and medium compounds, which he doesn't believe will last longer than a single lap. The Ferrari driver doesn't blame the tyres for Ferrari's pace, adding that more durable tyres would only allow the opposition to go quicker, but he doesn't enjoy driving at 95 per cent of the limit. "I think the tyres are what they are at the moment - and it is a tyre that cannot do five kilometres," he said, claiming his were worn after just two sectors.
