Hamilton leads first practice in Korea from Vettel

In tricky track conditions, Lewis Hamilton posted the fastest time during the first practice session for the Korean Grand Prix on Friday edging Sebastian Vettel by just 0.037 seconds. The Mercedes driver clocked 1 minute 39.630 around the Korean International Circuit keeping ahead of the two Red Bull drivers with Mark Webber a tenth behind in third. Nico Rosberg was nearly half a second slower in fourth, ahead of McLaren driver Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso of Ferrari. Lotus’ Romain Grosjean was seventh ahead of teammate Kimi Raikkonen, who lost control of his car at the penultimate corner at the end of the session and crashed into the barriers.
