Whitmarsh: Staying ahead of Force India the focus now

McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh has said the priority for team in Korea next weekend and over the remainder of the season is to consolidate fifth place in the Constructors' Championship.McLaren trailed Force India by two points going into the summer break, however, the Woking-based squad moved in front after the Belgian Grand Prix, extending the gap to 14 points following the race in Singapore last Sunday, when Jenson Button and Sergio Perez came home in seventh and eighth respectively.Now Whitmarsh is keen for them to pull further ahead, although he concedes such fights aren't something that particularly excites them.“We go into these final races with the very clear intention of...
