FIA 'proud' of new Concorde Agreement

After months of waiting, F1 is edging towards a new Concorde Agreement that just needs to be signed off by the teams. In July, an agreement was reached setting out the framework for implementing the Concorde Agreement, which will run from 2013 to 2020. That has now come into being following the approval of the respective governing bodies of the signatory parties. According to the FIA statement, 'this agreement provides the FIA with significantly improved financial means to pursue its regulatory missions and to reflect the enhanced role undertaken by the FIA in the Motor Sport.
