Lotus youngster Fontana to test 2010 Renault R30

Lotus junior driver Alex Fontana is set to get behind the wheel of a Formula One car for the first time next week when he tests the team's 2010 challenger at Paul Ricard. Fontana, 21, is currently racing in GP3 for Jenzer Motorsport, claiming one podium so far this season following a strong showing in the now-defunct Formula Two championship in 2012. Having been confirmed as being a part of Lotus' junior programme at the beginning of the season, this test will now give Fontana a chance to test a Formula One car for the first time as he looks to make a move into the series in the future. 'I'm naturally delighted that Lotus F1 Team has given me the opportunity of this test,' Fontana said....
