Vergne: Toro Rosso more suited to Korea
Toro Rosso driver Jean-Éric Vergne reckons that the Korean Grand Prix will allow the Faenza-based outfit to return to form, claiming that they always expected to struggle in Singapore. A generally poor weekend around the Marina Bay streets ended with the team’s first non-points finish since Hungary. With the STR8 chassis allowing its drivers to take solid top ten finishes at the Canadian, British, Belgian and Italian Grands Prix, Vergne is confident that the similar high-speed sections in Korea should see the squad add to its current points tally.
