'McLaren door ajar for Hulkenberg'

McLaren are the latest team to have been mentioned as a possible destination for Nico Hulkenberg, according to a report. The German is set to leave Sauber at the end of this season after just one year at Hinwil, but the name of his next team remains unclear following Ferrari's decision to re-sign Kimi Raikkonen. Many believe he is now the front-runner to replace Raikkonen at Lotus next year, however, Germany's Sport Bild claims McLaren have also entered the picture. The Woking squad are yet to confirm either Jenson Button and Sergio Perez as their drivers for 2014 and it is believed that the latter's sponsor Telmex is yet to pay the team, leaving the door ajar for Hulkenberg.
