Ecclestone: 2014 may end Vettel dominance
Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has boldly predicted that Sebastian Vettel’s current dominance of the sport could end as early as next season, citing the potential effect of the sweeping regulation changes that are due to be enacted in 2014. Red Bull were the big winners from the last round of rule changes in 2009, emerging from the midfield pack to claim three Constructors’ titles in four years, with another seemingly on the way. And despite Vettel increasing his stranglehold on the 2013 Drivers’ Championship in recent races, Ecclestone doesn’t believe that this will have any bearing on future campaigns, and reckons that rival teams have been presented with an invaluable...
