Hamilton now aims to beat Alonso, Ferrari in 2013

After a dominant win by Sebastian Vettel at the Singapore Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton has now switched his focus to beat Fernando Alonso and Ferrari in the championship this season. The Mercedes driver was in contention for the title this year, particularly after his maiden victory with the German manufacturer in Hungary, but after three successive wins for Vettel, the Briton was forced to re-evaluate his targets this season. Hamilton is now 96 points behind the Red Bull driver in the standings in third - after he finished fifth in Singapore – realistically erasing hopes of upstaging the German.
