Webber penalised for Alonso lift

Red Bull driver Mark Webber has been given a ten-place grid penalty for the Korean Grand Prix, after stewards gave him a reprimand following Sunday's Singapore race. Having retired on the final lap, Webber was given a lift back to the pits by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, but the stewards said article 30.9(b) of the sporting regulations was broken as he "entered the track without the marshal's permission between the commencement of the formation lap and the time when the last car enters parc ferme." Webber receives the penalty as it is his third reprimand of the season, following a clash with Nico Rosberg in Bahrain and failing to adhere to yellow flags in Canada. Alonso was also...
