Webber handed 10 place penalty for Korea
Mark Webber will drop 10 places on the grid for the Korean Grand Prix after picking up a reprimand in the Singapore Grand Prix.
Webber's Red Bull RB9 failed on the final lap in Singapore and he hitched a lift back to the pits with Fernando Alonso.
The stewards deemed he contravened article 30.9b of the sporting regulations, which state that he ‘entered the track without the marshal's permission between the commencement of the formation lap and the time when the last car enters parc ferme'.
As it is Webber's third reprimand of the season, he triggers an automatic 10 place grid penalty for the next event, which takes place in Korea in two weeks' time.
