Palmer snatches victory from team-mate Nasr in Singapore

Jolyon Palmer won the GP2 feature race at the Singapore Grand Prix, snatching victory from his Carlin team-mate Felipe Nasr who desperately needed the win for his championship challenge. None of the title rivals had it easy in the opening race of the weekend, with championship leader Fabio Leimer back in fifth after losing a position in the closing stages to Stephane Richelmi. Sam Bird salvaged eighth position and the reverse grid pole after starting tenth, while Stefano Coletti's hopes took another hit as he finished a distant 12th outside of the points.
