Pirelli announce tyre compounds for Korea, Japan and India

Pirelli has announced the tyre compounds that they will take to the Korean, Japanese and Indian rounds of the 2013 Formula 1 season. The Italian firm, who have reportedly signed a five-year contract to continue supplying Formula 1 with tyres, recently defended this year's range of tyres, with their motorsport director Paul Hembery branding claims that the sport has become boring due to their tyres as 'nonsense.' They will bring the white medium compound tyre and red super-soft to the Korean Grand Prix, the same compounds that they will bring to Singapore for this weekend's Grand Prix.
