Ferrari Chief Aerodynamicist set to join Lotus

Following a spate of recent departures, Lotus has moved to strengthen its current technical line-up with the signing of Ferrari's Chief Aerodynamicist Nicolas Hennel. Hennel’s decision to join the Enstone-based-team bucks the trend set by the departure of key team personnel, with Kimi Raikkonen and Dirk de Beer recently announcing their intention to head to Maranello to join forces with ex-Lotus Team Principal James Allison for 2014. Hennel leaves Ferrari after just over a year at the Scuderia, having previously worked at McLaren and Renault.
