Ricciardo to test for Red Bull
Daniel Ricciardo will drive for Red Bull during a Pirelli tyre test at the Circuit de Catalunya this week. Red Bull is completing a 1000km tyre test at Barcelona with a 2011 car which it has supplied to Pirelli in order to carry out testing relevant to next season's tyres. Team principal Christian Horner said Daniel Ricciardo will split the running with the team's test driver Sebastien Buemi in order for Ricciardo to get more comfortable with the team ahead of his move in 2014. "Well Pirelli approached all of the teams to see if they would be prepared to supply a 2011 car to conduct some 2014 tyre testing," Horner said.
