Red Bull, Ricciardo set for tyre test
Red Bull has confirmed that it will this week conduct a two-day tyre test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to aid Pirelli with the development of its 2014 compounds. New-signing Daniel Ricciardo is scheduled to complete a full day of running, as well as dedicated test driver Sébastien Buemi. The car in use will be the two-year-old double title-winning RB7 chassis, as permitted by the current sporting regulations "Pirelli approached all of the teams to see if they would be prepared to supply a 2011 car to conduct some 2014 tyre testing, so we have made a car available," said Red Bull team boss Christian Horner.
