Paul di Resta dubs Monza a “weekend to forget”

Paul di Resta has dubbed the Italian Grand Prix as a weekend to forget, after the Scotsman endured a whole host of issues which culminated in an incident on the opening lap which practically obliterated his front-left suspension and forced him into retirement. The 27-year-old is now looking ahead to Singapore later in the month. Force India’s woes began on Saturday morning during preparations for the qualifying session, when Paul di Resta’s VJM06 was struck with a brake disc failure during final practice. The Scotsman managed to qualify 14th for the race, right in the middle of the highly competitive midfield section along with the likes of Romain Grosjean, Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis...
