Sutil given three-place grid penalty
Adrian Sutil has been handed a three-place grid penalty for tomorrow's Italian Grand Prix after he was deemed to have impeded Lewis Hamilton during qualifying.
The German driver blocked Hamilton during the second qualifying session, although the Brit blames his own driving rather than getting held up as the cause for his failure to make it through to the top 10 shoot-out.
Hamilton's run of four consecutive pole positions was broken after he ruined his first run in Q2 after an off-track excursion at the Parabolica. His second lap wasn't helped by the impeding by Sutil but the 28-year-old conceded that it was his own fault.
