Hülkenberg overjoyed with showing

Nico Hülkenberg was suitably delighted after securing a third-place starting position for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, the best qualifying result since joining Sauber. Having struggled throughout Friday's pair of 90-minute practice sessions, the former Williams and Force India driver enjoyed an improved car balance in the grid-deciding hour, later praising his team for the series of set-up changes made overnight. "It's a really nice surprise," Hülkenberg explained. "We had a very difficult Friday, so the guys have done a fantastic job to turn the car around. I had a fantastic car today, it got better and better and it was a very good lap that made this nice surprise...
